Well, here's to my first day home home, as in, home at my mom's house with half my things unpacked. I followed my pleasantly normal schedule of going to bed at 3 am and waking up exactly 12 hours later, but I still haven't gotten that summer feeling. It helped a little when I stepped outside to let the dogs go potty, seeing as how the weather was incredibly nice (but incredibly windy).
Oh well. Just gotta get used to it, I guess. (And to make sure I bring home Okami on the Wii with me so that I can play it during the day... muahahaha)

it's weird that it's suddenly upon me. I've been waiting for this steamy hot 85 degree sunny beautiful weather ever since it left me. and now it's snuck up on me. can't say I'm complaining though!!! HOORAY SUMMER!
being the sloth that I am, summer has always been my favorite time of year. Not just because of the weather. but because of the lack of anything to do. Sure, I've been complaining about having nothing to do, missing my college friends, and so on and so forth................................................. but secretly, I kind of don't mind. Just a little.
I love waking up at noon or 1 pm, surfing the internet for an hour, maybe take a shower, and then play video games or surf the internet again. And in-between that, taking the dogs outside and just sitting on the stairs while they run around in the grass. just sitting. looking at the sky, the ground, the trees... doing nothing at all, except enjoying life. this is the kind of thing I really like. I can be hyper and energetic, I can be sarcastic, I can be hardworking (maybe not).... but I think "me" as it should be is just calm, laid-back and relaxed. I'm perfectly fine with doing nothing, as long as the weather is kind and I don't have other things to do.
...like get a job. dang. that puts a damper on my whole "doing nothing" scenario.
